Show April Savings Bond Sales Break Record News of record-breaking U. S. Savings Bonds sales highlighted a report here today by volunteer State Savings Bonds Chairman Frederick P. Champ. "E Eonrt sales," he said, "were the highest nationally last month than for any April since 1946, while combined .sales of E and H Bonds were the highest since 1955. "Here in Utah, our E-Boiul sales, as well as combined E and H sales, were the highest for any April since the post-War period. The total for the month was $1,908,808." April sales for Iron County were $5,142, according to Francis W. Betenson, Manager, First Security Sec-urity Bank, Cedar City, County Bonds Chairman. Total sales for the four months of 1966 were $37,769, or 54 per cent of the 1966 goal. |
