Show LfBiiiKunim 1 i i.i M 1 I i'I I 11I1 wiim 1 Hey Cedars Square ; Dance Group Sets Jamboree Theme Advertising and decorating committees of the Hey Cedars Square Dance Organization have been named and first plans tor the July 8 and 9 Jamboree have commenced. Under the direction of officers, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Halsey and committee chairmen, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Nugent, decorations decor-ations are being planned to a theme of "Prairie Hodown". The theme was chosen Monday evening eve-ning by the foursome and 1 other oth-er couples who are serving with them. Saturday evening, the local group danced in the open-air at the city park and will continue their usual Saturday night events at the park rather than at East Elementary. The only big event scheduled by the Hey Cedars prior to the jamboree will be held June 11. A steak fry will start at 8 p. m. and will be followed by "squar'-en-um-up" for favorite routines. All Hey Cedar's members are invited in-vited to attend and to bring their own steak and eating utensils. All dinner foods except the steak will be furnished by committee commit-tee members under the direction of presidents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rich-ard O. Rice. Assisting will be Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Leavitt, Mr. and Mrs. Gail Duncan, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Tong, and Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Bryant. |
