Show Hk Iff1 t .titm ' ' Temple rites united couple Shawna Wood and Darren Bauer were married in the Jordan River Temple Sept. 10. The bride is the daughter of Swain and Judy Wood of Sunset. Parents of the groom are Allen and Mary Helen Bauer of North Salt Lake. Following the ceremony a luncheon lun-cheon was held at Chuck-A-Rama in Salt Lake City. That evening the couple was honored at a reception in Colonial Square Reception Center Cen-ter in Bountiful. Organ music for the reception was pre-recorded by the bride's great aunt, Millie Quails of St. Petersburg Beach, Fla. The bride wore a gown of white organza with a lace appliqued bodice and long tucked sleeves with lace inserts, trimmed in seed pearls. She wore a hat adorned with like lace and pearls with an attached finger tip veil. She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses accented with her chosen colors of peach and teal blue lilies, field flowers and baby breath. Serving as best man was Douglas Jackson. Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Shannon Wood. Bridesmaids were Barbara Hatch and Cindy Chatelain. They wore peach street-length dresses with a lace yoke and peplum waist. They carried bouquets matching the bride's flowers. Alternate flower girls were the groom's little nieces, Lindsey Soelberg, Kaelynn Bauer and Celeste Bauer. They wore complementary com-plementary corsages with their teal blue dresses and white ruffled pinafores. pina-fores. All of the floral arrangements arrange-ments were made by the groom's sister-in-law, Val Lynn Bauer. MR. AND MRS. DARREN BAUER Kirby Bauer and Troy Morvillo greeted guests while Shanon Bauer served as an usher. Presiding at the guest book was Lynn Gregg. Gifts were received by Cameron and Lisa Soelberg and arranged by Julie Chatelain and Elizabeth Arave, aunts of the bride. Servers were friends of the couple, Tammy Burningham, Marianne Henderson, Hender-son, Stephen Eden and Scott. Hales. Prenuptial parties were given by Janis Soelberg, Val Lynn Bauer, Tammy Burningham and Lynn Gregg. The bride has completed her training at the Air National Guard and is employed at Hill Air Force Base. The groom is attending the University of Utah in the college of business. He served an LDS Colorado Col-orado Denver mission. The couple will make their home in North Salt Lake. |
