Morgan Davis, Jr. has been called to serve in the Guatemala, Quetzaltenango Mission. He enters en-ters the MTC Sept. 23. He is the son of Dennis M. and Anita Davis, and brother to Tyler, Amanda, Lydia, Sarah, James and Esther. Morgan is a graduate of seminary semi-nary and Viewmont High where he was active in drama and the choral department. Recently he has attended Weber State University. A farewell will be held Sept. 13 at 8:30 a.m. in the Centerville 15th Ward Chapel at 1125 N. 400 W. She is the daughter of Conley and Erika Bailey. Her farewell will be held Sunday, Sun-day, Sept. 13 at 10:15 a.m. at the Rock Church, 272 N. Main, Farm-ington. Farm-ington. She will enter the MTC Sept. 30. Karen graduated from Davis High School and Kaysville Seminary. Semi-nary. She also graduated from Weber We-ber State College in cosmetology. LOUISE BREDTHAUER Louise Bredthauer, daughter of Henry and Marian Bredthauer, has accepted a call to serve in the West Virginia Charleston mission. Louise has graduated from the University of Utah. He will report his mission Sept. 13 at 9 a.m. at the Bountiful 11th Ward Chapel located at 1 15 E. 2000 S., Bountiful. mm n MMWWL I 7 ; h ELDER HYDE Elder Jordan Lane Hyde, son of Charles Larry and Karen Hyde, has accepted a call to serve in the California, Anaheim mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jordan has been attending the University of Utah for the past two years. The last year on scholarship, scholar-ship, he has been studying English and theatre. He has taught theatre in Salt Lake City and Helena, Mont. Jordan's farewell will be Sept. 13 at 1 :40 p.m. at 720 E. 550 N., Bountiful. Boun-tiful. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7.50 at the door (unless you're not willing to pay; then it's free). There will be an open house following the farewell at the Hyde residence, 759 E. 550 N. Jordan enters the MTC Sept. 16. ELDER THORNLEY i Elder Mitchell O. Thornley, son of Gary and Katherine Thornley, has been called to serve as a missionary mis-sionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Washington, Seattle mission. He will enter the Mission Training Center Oct. 7. Elder Thornley's farewell will be held Sept. 13 at 2:15 p.m., in the Bountiful 48th Ward, 1320 E. 1975 S. Mitchell is a 1986 graduate of Bountiful High and has been attending the University of Utah since his high school graduation. ELDER PEABODY Elder Wade S. Peabody has accepted a call to serve in the Scotland, Scot-land, Edinburgh mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. He is the son of Kathryn Hamb-lin Hamb-lin of Centerville and Ivo Peabody of Phoenix, Ariz. He graduated from Woods Cross High School in 1987 and was a member of the seminary council. Wade holds the rank of Eagle scout and is a certified certi-fied EMT. Wade's farewell will be held Sept. 13 at the Centerville 4th Ward Chapel, 610 Rowland Way, Centerville at 1 p.m. ' |
