Show Sunday School to begin Grace Baptist Church, 835 N. Main, Bountiful, will begin a new Sunday School year Sept. 13 with a morning of special activities. A continental breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday School at 9: 15 a.m. Sunday School will begin that morning with a joint service with Pastor Pat Edwards Ed-wards offering some devotional thoughts for the new year. Those who are promoting into new classes clas-ses will be recognized. There are classes for all age groups 2Vz years through adult. Nursery care will be provided for children under 2Vi. Adult classes will be studying the book of Genesis as a book of relationships, and will be looking at the various relationships that give the book its real-life, present day importance. They will be asking themselves the question, "What can I learn from these relationships in Genesis that can help me build ' more positive and enduring relationships re-lationships in my own life?" Grace Baptist teachers shared their vision for the new year at a recent staff meeting. They are united un-ited in the desire that all their teaching be directed toward making mak-ing God's word, the Bible, so real in the lives of those they teach that change of attitude and behavior will be the result, with Christlike-ness Christlike-ness the ultimate goal. You are invited to be a part of one of these life-changing classes at Grace Baptist Church this fall. Call the church office at 292-1661 if you desire more information. |
