I GENEVA XO EXPAND The Geneva Steel will spend $70,000,000 for expansion, it is announced by steel authorities. Geneva now employes 0600 people peo-ple and produces 90,000 tons of steel ingots per month. From the ingots, the plant manufactures manufac-tures 50,000 tons of steel plates, 11,000 tons of structural steel shapes .md 0000 tons of Ktcel ' billets monthly. Geneva has been under peace time operation for the past 17 months. A shortage of railroad cars and hoi sinp for mines resulting in a shortage of coal production from the company's mines is the only thing holding back Gene-I Gene-I va's further production.
