Show NO FICTION TO THIS WHEN Mark Twain was editor of a small Missouri newspaper, news-paper, he got a letter from a subscriber saying- he had found a spider in his paper. lie wanted to know if it was a good or iiad omen. Twain replied: "Finding a spider in your paper is neither good nor bad. The spider was merely looking over your paper to see which merchant was not advertising so that he could go to that store, spin a web across the door, and lead a life of undisturbed peace ever afterward." |
