Show Shipley addresses Kiwanis A Bountiful-based business exports ex-ports training experts with Ph.D's to conduct communication programs prog-rams around the world and to scores of Fortune's top 500 businesses in the United States, Bountiful Kiwanians learned Tuesday Tues-day from Richard Shipley, president presi-dent of Shipley Associates. Shipley noted that 98 percent of their work is outside Utah. The company started here, and stayed in this locale because there are excellent ex-cellent personnel resources and the Bountiful headquarters is near Salt Lake's "hub" airport. Proposal writing has become a specialty of the company, and earned "best document" rating for the U.S. West project. Clients are large companies and the training programs include writing writ-ing skills and preparation for presentations. pre-sentations. In the meeting, Kiwanis Club President Clair Sorensen presented pre-sented a $250 check to Dan Kofoed for this year's sponsorship of the Bobby Soxers team. Carl Fricke, youth services chairman said the club is impressed with the value of the program for girls and "Kiwanis really appreciates your efforts." |
