Show Chamberlain, Balling wed Sonya Chamberlain and Christen Bohn Balling were married Jan. 28 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple by Alden Rigby. The bride is the daughter of Dennis De-nnis Vance and Jean A. Chamberlain Chamber-lain of 38 E. 1800 S., Bountiful. Parents Pa-rents of the groom are Jack Phelps and Karma H. Balling of 1955 Springcreek Dr., Bountiful. The couple was honored at a wedding breakfast held at the Lion House in Salt Lake City with a reception re-ception held at the Bountiful 28th Ward meetinghouse. The bride wore an all white satin gown with pearls scattered over a lace bodice. Pearls were also strewn along the hemline and train and also on the sleeves. She carried a bouquet made of dusty rose, burgundy bur-gundy and white roses. Peggy D. Trujillo was matron of honor with Lori Chamberlain, sister, sis-ter, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Adrianne Clay and Cindy Chamberlain. They wore dusty rose colored satin mid-length dresses dres-ses with off white lace along the yoke and sleeves. Flowers were sprays of dusty rose daisies, burgundy bur-gundy and white roses. DThe bride's mother wore a dusty se pleated dress and Mrs. Balling wore a gray pleated dress. Corsages Cor-sages were made of dusty rose, gray and white roses. Kayla Balling was a flower girl. Best man duties were performed by Brent Bean. Ushers were Rob Goldsberry, Craig Patten. Prenuptial parties were given by Anne Connelly; Cindee, Angie, Sandi, Karma and Paige Balling; Lambda Delta Sigma Sorority, friends; Joan Muir, Janet Teeples, Tessie Metcalf, and Millie Francis; LaRae Wright and Pat Price. The bride has attended Weber State College with an associate degree de-gree in general education. The groom has attended Utah State University, University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College and will receive an associate associ-ate degree in the spring. He filled an LDS Boston, Massachusetts mission. mis-sion. After a honeymoon to Jackson Hole, Wyo., they will make their home in Kaysville. |
