Show Enid M. R. Powell KAYSVILLE Enid Miriam Robson Powell, 61, of 563 N. 150 W., died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1988 at the Hill Air Force Base Hospital in Layton of complications complica-tions following surgery. She was born July 3, 1926 in London, England, a daughter of Arthur Victor and Gertrude Emily Clark Robson. She married Dale Gibbons Powell, Jan. 29, 1945 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were later divorced. She was reared and educated in London, England, moving to the Layton area in 1945. She had lived in various places with the military over the past 30 years. Just prior to her death, she was living in Alpine, Wyo. She had a great love for sewing and for the piano. She held various positions in the LDS Church. Surviving are one son and two daughters, Clifford Powell, Ogden; Mrs. Stephen (Vorelle) Sill, Kays- ville; Mrs. Gregg (Andrea) Byrum, .' Lancaster, Calif.; seven grandchil-.' grandchil-.' dren. V Also surviving are her mother and one brother, Paul Robson, both of Walnut Creek, Calif. ;'; She was preceded in death by her father and one son, Travis. " Funeral services were under the I direction of Lindquist Kaysville ENID MIRIAM ROBSON POWELL Mortuary. They were held Saturday, Satur-day, Feb. 13, in the Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Stephen M. Sill of the Kaysville 15th Ward officiating. Family prayer was offered by Gregg Byrum; prelude, Elaine Beckstrand; musical selection "There Is A Green Hill Far Away" by Elaine Beckstrand; invocation, Carl Shoff ; speakers, Vernon Bingham Bing-ham and Bishop Stephen M. Sill; "O My Father", Sonya Sill; benediction, be-nediction, Garrett S. Sill. Dedication of the grave was by Eldon E. Sill with interment in the Farmington City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gregg Byrum, Ray Coomes, Clifford Powell, Tom Scanter, Garrett S. Sill and Tyson C. Sill. |
