Show NARFE to meet Tuesday The next monthly meeting of the Bountiful Chapter of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees has been scheduled at the Golden Years Center on March 8 at 12:30 p.m. All Federal retirees, their spouses and survivors are invited in-vited to attend. Brad Neiger from the county health services department will give a presentation on cholesterol, and how to prevent an excessive buildup in our blood systems. The NARFE is an organization of and for retired federal career retirees. re-tirees. Its major goal is the protection protec-tion and betterment of retirement benefits and entitlements. Through its local chapters, this organization also supports the ADRDA program for research into the causes and hopefully a cure for Alzheimer's disease and joins with the American Amer-ican Association of Retired Persons Per-sons in support of many betterment programs for the elderly citizen. Federal retirees are urged to become be-come acquainted with their local NARFE Chapter and lend their support through membership and participation for the betterment of all. |
