Show Activities classes for infants and toddlers Studies have shown that a child's most active period of growth, both physically and intellectually, intel-lectually, takes place between birth and the age of four. In an effort to help parents feel more competent in encouraging this growth in their children, the Parent Education Resource Center will present a class entitled "Stimulation "Stimula-tion Activities for Infants and Toddlers." Tod-dlers." This class will demonstrate various va-rious activities to stimulate a child's development in gross and fine motor skills, language skills, imagination, sensory awareness and intelligence. Presentor for the class will be Dee Seelos, R.N., a public health nurse and school nurse for the Monte Vista Center. The presentation will be March 9 at 7 p.m. at the Monte Vista Center, Cen-ter, 100 S. 200 E., Farmington. The fee is $3 per person. Preregistration is required and can be done by visiting the Parent Education Resource Center or by calling 451-5071. |
