He was ' signed by a modeling agency agen-cy in New York. A month later he went on an open casting call for a part in "Shirley," the shortlived short-lived Shirley Jones series. He got it over 300 other actors. In '79, Peter moved to Los Angeles and began studying acting. He played the lead opposite Linda Blair in "Hell Night" and gave her her first on-screen kiss.
