Show Help For Vets A Veterans Administration grant of up to $4,400 is available avail-able for some seriously disabled dis-abled veterans to purchase an automobile or other convenience, conveni-ence, according to Douglas Wadsworth. Wadsworth said the program prog-ram allows the Veterans Administration Admi-nistration to make a one time payment of not more than $4,400 toward the purchase of an automobile for veterans or active duty personnel with service-connected loss, or permanent perma-nent loss of use of one or both hands or feet, or permanent impairment of vision of both eyes to a prescribed degree. IN ADDITION to the vehicle and the adapted equipment, the Veterans Administration will pay for the repair, replacement replace-ment or re-installation of such equipment in subsequent vehicles. vehi-cles.
