Show Police Report the month with 19. There were three cases of burglary; six cases of drug problems; and four incidents of vandalism, the report showed. Police also handled four cases of fraudulent checks; three family fights; three prowler prow-ler calls; and four cases of animal problems. There were nine arrests of driving while under the influence (of alcohol) alco-hol) and two cases of public intoxication. POLICE issued 64 citations for traffic violations. Of the 24 arrests, 20 were adults and four were juveniles. CENTERVTLLE - A total of 575 calls for police assistance assist-ance were answered by the Centerville Police Department during September, according to a report to the Centerville City Council last week. THE REPORT included all calls for assistance as w ell as on-the-scene reports made by police officers, including 100 "verbal warnings" by police officers on duty. Patrolmen assisted on 59 cases and offered citizen assists to 39 others. They investigated in-vestigated 18 accidents and made 24 arrests. THEFT headed the list of offenses investigated during |
