The committee com-mittee introduced the by-laws and Articles of Incorporation in November of 1974. The Traveling Exhibition Program is a statewide outreach out-reach service of the Utah Arts Council. The program provides pro-vides schools, museums and galleries throughout the state with a variety of exhibitions which may be booked free of An exhibition from the Utah Watercolor Society will be on display at Viewmont High School from Oct. 21 to Nov. THE WATERCOLORS in this exhibition were chosen from the Utah Watercolor Society's Eighth Annual Juried Exhibition, held this year at the Bountiful Art Center. Cen-ter. They display significant development in originality and technique in the watercolor medium. The show was juried by Milford Zornes, one of America's leading watercolor-ists watercolor-ists and nationally recognized tcschcrs The Utah Watercolor Society, Socie-ty, through this exhibition is endeavoring to accomplish two purposes: to educate the viewer to the significance of watercolor as an important painting medium, and to encourage en-courage artists to excel in the use of the medium. |
