Show Viking Views orientation meeting Thursday night at 7 p.m. for all seniors and their parents. THE FFA is in charge of the Halloween Girls Dance Saturday Satur-day the 30th from 8-1 1 p.m. So everyone come join the fun. By MARSHA CHRISTENSEN and CLAYTON GILLETTE We hope everyone was successful suc-cessful with their deer hunt because be-cause we sure had an outstanding outstand-ing week. OUR CROSS country boys team took first in region on Wednesday with Brian Fuller taking first place and Mike Allen taking third. Other great runners were Reese Kidman, RJ. Lunt and Mike Nelson. The girls' team took second place. They will participate in the state tournament all day Wednesday. Our superb football team pulled through again with a victory over East 35-15. We're now looking forward to the playoff game against Granger at our home field Friday at 7:30. THE WATERPOLO girls team won with Derik Newman setting a record of the most goals stopped. The boys' team lost in a close match. We're very proud ot our choral department. They performed per-formed very well in their fall . concert. Every choir sounded great. The Madrigals are doing exceptionally well. WE HAD a fun assembly and pep rally combined on Thursday with Vandermeide, the hypnotist, doing an outstanding out-standing show.
