Show 1" lip ell Doris P. Morrill MIA Plans June Ninth Operetta Rehearsals are being held for an operetta, "Rancho Rivera," which wiil be held June" 9th, at the ward chapel. The operetta is being presented by the MIA. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bow-den Bow-den and daughters, Mary and Virginia, of Salt Lake City, visited vis-ited during the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rae Goodrich. Good-rich. Myron Jones and Morley Jones, of Lehi, were Tride'll visitors visi-tors on Memorial Day. Primary graduation was held Sunday evening with the Primary Pri-mary graduating two girls, Peggy Peg-gy Simmons and Betty McKee. The stake visitor attending the Seth and Wendel Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Omni Winterton, of Roosevelt, were visitors in Tridell on Memorial Day. Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Ross and family, of Orem, visited Saturday Satur-day with relative's in Tridell. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley went to Brigham City Thursday where they spent Memorial Day with the family of Mrs. Merkley. JOIN DANCE FESTIVAL A special number for the" Dance Festival at Union High School, sponsored toy the MIA Thursday evening was taken down by the Indian missionaries consisting of the song, "Indian Memoirs," composed and played by Phyllis ObeThansly. The song was sung by the following: introduction, Doris P. Morrill; little Indian girls, Jewell Dushane Du-shane and Angela, Checora; young warrior man, Merlin Cornpeach; young squaw, Nellie Mart; Chief, Elwyn Dushane. Dancers were Dale loupe, Alfred Dushane and Archilee Root. Mrs. Dellis Morrill left Sunday Sun-day for Denver, Colo., where she will attend Volume Library classes for a week and visit with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. John Starkey. She was accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Alma Preece. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kitchen and family, of American Fork, were Memorial weekend visitors. |
