Show Calves Rate High At Stock Show At the recent stock show held at Altamont, Steve Evans entered enter-ed his dairy calf and it was rated as Class B, winning- a red ribbon and three dollars. Laird Hartman got a white ribbon for his entry. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Crozier, of Neola, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Crosby Cros-by on Saturday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Less Orr entertained enter-tained guests over Saturday and Sunday of last week. They were Lee Powell, of Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Kilmer Rounding and family, fam-ily, of Provo; and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Denning and family, of Roy. Mrs. Max Hartman and children chil-dren were visiting in Duchesne on Memorial Day. There were many from out of town to visit their graves at the Mt. Emmons cemetery on Memorial Day. Among them were Mr. and Mrs. Art Powell and children, of Layton; Mr. I and Mrs. Max Ross and children, 1 of Arcadia; Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Gard-ner and Glen Chapman and others of Neola. In last week's column Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Nebeker were erroneously erron-eously called Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Snedegar. Mr. and Mrs. Vere Dastrup, of Roy, Utah, were weekend visitors visi-tors of Mr. and Mrs. LaFarge Dastrup. Mrs. Leland Stevenson went to Salt Lake on Sunday of last week and visited with relatives for several days. Mrs. Gordon Case and her two sons returned last Tuesday to' Mt. Emmons to live. They have been living in Kamas for the past year. |
