Show 4-11 Club News By Wanda Ann Morrill The first club meeting of the Kitchen Steamers was held May 28, at the home of the leader, Tess Lemon. After selecting the name of the club the election of officers took place with following follow-ing being- elected: Pres. Betty McKee; Vice Pres. Peggy Simmons; Sim-mons; Sec. Toni Goodrich; Reperter Wanda Ann Morrill; Song Leader LaDonna McKee; Game Leader ' Lorene McKee with Jimmy and Ward Goodrich as helpers. The club received their 4-H books. SCOUTS ATTEND CAMP The Boy Scouts with their Scoutmaster Dellis Morrill, attended at-tended the Scout Camp up Uinta Canyon this week. Those who attended were: Gaylon McKee, Floyd Bartlett, Elvin Morrill, Ray Moosman, Dee Ross, Dean Goodrich and Lynn McKee. James Harvey took them to the canyon on Thursday and returned re-turned to bring them home, Saturday. Eldred Wilson, of Tooele, and Elmond Wilson, of Provo, visited visit-ed the weekend in Tridell. Primary conference was held Sunday evening of last week. The theme of the program was "We Have Reason To Rejoice," portraying scenes of the Primary Pri-mary Children's Hospital. Stake visitor was Mina Murdock, stake Primary secretary. Mrs. Dellis Morrill accompanied accompan-ied her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Preece, of Vernal, to Cen-terfield, Cen-terfield, Utah, Tuesday, to attend at-tend the funeral services of her uncle, Avery Beck. They also' visited in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Devere Ross and family, of Sandy, were visitors visi-tors here on Memorial Day. |
