Show Mrs. Ethel Beebo Speak In Church Sunday Evening Speakers in Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were Floyd Case, of Mt. Emmons; Hugo Mitchell, of Upalco, stake high council-men, council-men, and Reed Anderson, of Bluebell, a returned missionary. Mrs. Laura Mohlman has returned re-turned home after spending the winter with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Art Mohlman, in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Amon Case and family, of Midvale, spent Sunday Sun-day at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Case. Mr. and Mrs. Colin Nielsen and daughter, of Mt. Emmons, visited with Mrs. Nielsen's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Dru Allred, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rochel Sunday. Richard Swasey, of Boneta, was a visitor at the George Carroll Car-roll home Sunday. ATTEND SHOWER Mr. slnd Mrs. Neldon Oliver, of Price, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen, over the weekend. Mrs. Olsen accompanied accom-panied them o Price, Sunday. Then they went to Evanston, Wyoming to attend a shower for Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cole, Tuesday. Tues-day. Jack is a former resident of Altonah. The new Mrs. Cole was Miss Theda Rose Barnes, of Evanston. The wedidng took place May 22. Jack is the nephew neph-ew of Ed Olsen and Mrs. Cole is a niece of Mrs. Olsen. Tuff Reay, of Ioka, was in Altonah Al-tonah visiting and transacting business Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Monson and family of Ogden visited relatives rel-atives in Altonah. He also visited his father, Orson Monson of Al-tamont, Al-tamont, who is very ill. Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Shiner spent the past week visiting in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Allred moved to Rangley, Colorado on Monday. Mr. Allred has employment em-ployment there. Mrs. Van Timothy of Bonanza is here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Maxfield. Mr. Maxfield is still very ill. Glen Mohlman and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maxfield transacted business in Duchesne Tuesday. Mrs. Helen Hardy of Salt Lake City visited at the home of her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Clenty Ames last week. On her return home she accompanied Mrs. Dallas Ames, Mrs. Clenty Ames and Mrs. Glen Ames and son, Leonard. Raymond Dump who is employed em-ployed at Tooele broke his arm while he was home over the week end. M. and Mrs. Harold Ralphs and family of Lyman, Wyoming spent the psat week with relatives rela-tives in Altonah. Mrs. Ruffus Averett of Spring-vilee Spring-vilee called at the home of Mrs. Elva Snyder Sunday. Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Snyder and sons returned to Springville with her mother Mrs. Averett after spending a week with Mrs. Snyder. Gary Jensen is driving one of the Hi-Land milk trucks. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Maxfield, Mrs. Ella Jensen and Mrs. Lu-ella Lu-ella Jensen of Emery and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Elliott of Free-mont Free-mont visited over the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Maxfield. The two Mrs. Jensens and Mrs. Elliott are Mr. Maxfield's sisters, and Bert Maxfield Max-field is a' brother. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden and family took Mrs. Mary Bowden Bow-den to Roosevelt for medical treatment Tuesday. Mrs. Clenty Ames returned home Thursday from a trip to Citrus Height, California. |
