Show BRIDGELAHD Mrs. Shelby Ligonbee Bishopric Has Social Evening The bishopric met Wednesday Wednes-day evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Neilsen for an evening of visiting and light refreshments. Those enjoying the evening were: Bishop and Mrs. Carl Van Tassell, Mr. and Mrs. George Marett, and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Lisonbee. Mr. and Mrs. Merl Jennings, Sr., daughter, LuJean, and Bertie Bert-ie Lisonbee spent the weekend at Levan. Mr. and Mrs. William Gallyer and daughters, Delia Rae and Rowena, of Twin Falls, Idaho, spent a few days here visiting old friends and looking after their property interests. Max Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor, who has been stationed at Ft. Ord, California, for the past four months, arrived arriv-ed home Monday to spend his furlough with his parents before leaving for Europe, where he will be stationed. Visiting over the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee Lis-onbee was their mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Christensen, of Salt Lake City. Frank Meyer, Jr. spent the weekend with his parents. Frank is employed at Hanna. Mr. and Mrs. Elden Liddell spent Memorial Day in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Clayborn went to Midway for Memorial Day. Mona Dee Liddell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elden Liddell, was chosen to go to Girls' State, representing Duchesne High School, where she is a junior. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer and family and Mrs. Jane Murphy Mur-phy spent Memorial Day at Woodland. Mrs. Murphy went on to Salt Lake City to visit relatives over the weekend. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee on Memorial Day were: Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood Lisonbee and baby daughter, Kim, of Roosevelt; Roose-velt; Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Pease, and boys, of West Jordan; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wellington and Mrs. Elizabeth Christensen, of Salt Lake City; and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Lisonbee. Sunday visitors at the Lisonbee home were: Mrs. Elsie Dean, of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Dean and children, of Myton; Mrs. Hope Harper and children, of Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Walters, of Salt Lake City, were weekend visitors of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Beal over the weekend were Mrs. Esther Ode-kirk, Ode-kirk, of Seattle, Wash, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Dean, of Salt Lake City. |
