Show Closing Social For Relief Society I The closing social of the Relief Re-lief Society was held on Tuesday, Tues-day, May 26. Ardis Kettle gave the last Social Science lesson, after which games were played. The following took part on the program: Eunice Cook, Lora Asay, As-ay, Veda Betts and Ellen Bracken. Brack-en. Angel food cake and strawberries straw-berries with whipped cream and punch were served to a group of twenty-five ladies. Mrs. David Lundberg and three of her children are confined con-fined to their home with the measles. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Collins and daughter, of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Mary Mackay, of Provo. spent Decoration weekend week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Betts. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Calvert of Salt Lake City, came out for Memorial Day and were guests at the home of Mrs. Calvert's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Shisler. The group spent Saturday afternoon in Vernal. Harold Eldredge, patriarch of Roosevelt L.D.S. stake, gave a very inspiring talk in Sacrament meeting Sunday night. Bishop and Mrs. Golden Collins Col-lins entertained the following group at dinner on Decoration Day: Mrs. Mary Collins, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Collins, of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Mary Mackay, of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Dick Scholes, of Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Betts. |
