Georgia Eskelson Brother Dies In Oregon May 30 Word was received by Guy Underwood that his brother, Harry Underwood, of Grant's Pass, Oregon, had died Saturday Satur-day morning, at 1 a.m. with a heart ailment. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Underwood at one time lived in Gusher, from 1917 to 1921. Dr. Wilbur Rule and family, of Steamboat Springs, Colo., visited vis-ited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Giggey Thursday and Friday. Fri-day. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Giggey left Friday evening for Boulder, Colo, to visit Mr. Giggey's mother. They plan on bringing Mrs. Giggey's sister and children chil-dren back with them. j Mr. and Mrs. John L. Myers and daughter, Julian, of Lander, Wyoming, have been visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Denver last weekend. Mrs. Meyers was formerly for-merly Florence Denver. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Duvall went to Park City, Friday, to attend the graduation exercises of their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Neldon Duvall. Mrs. George Arnold and children', chil-dren', Joe, Belle and Louis, attended at-tended the wedding of Mrs. Arnold's Ar-nold's sister. Edith Hardinger, at Roosevelt, Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Provincial Clark of Bonanza, visited Sunday with relatives and friends. ' Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Ferguson Fergu-son and children, of Clearfield, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Ferguson and children, of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Roper and sons, of Salt Lake City, visited at Mrs. Robina Ferguson's Fer-guson's home and with Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ferguson over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Miller j and daughter, Judy, of Jensen, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eph Eskelson. Mr. and Mrs. Eph Eskelson's daughter, Sharon, Shar-on, returned with the Millers to stay for a while. While working at the gilson-ite gilson-ite mine, Eph Eskelson ran a pick into his foot, Friday. Evangalist William Renstrem, wife and two sons, of Denver, Colo., were guests of Mrs. Elsie Domgaard Monday evening. Mr. Renstrem delivered a message to the Gusher Baptist church. He and his wife are very talented talent-ed people. Several musical pieces were played and the couple sang several songs. Miss Gloria Peck is home from Salt Lake. Her mother Mrs. Fred Peck, is still ill and they have taken her to Salt Lake for a heart operation. |
