Advice Offered On Assessing Your Automobile ' Personal property owners in Duchesne county this week were reminded by Assessor G. B. Workman that should they secure se-cure a certificate of assessment on their automobiles in another county in order to receive a lesser tax rate, these people are also liable for payment of the ! assessment in Duchesne county ! as well. , Taxpayers who live within incorporated cities and have their automobiles assessed to real estate located outside of incorporated in-corporated cities are liable for the additional tax levied by the city tax rates and that of the county mill levy. . Mr. Workman states that the 1 Utah State Tax Commission has advised him that this practice by the taxpayers is contrary to law. and that he has the authority author-ity to make the additional assessment as-sessment wherever he finds such a case.
