SHIPPERS AND GROWERS PAID $219,620 BY A&P Shippers and growers were paid $219,620 for produce purchased pur-chased during the 1950 season by the American Fork field office of-fice of the Atlantic Commission Company, produce-buying affiliate affil-iate of A & P Food Stores, it was announced today. More than half the volume was accounted for by celory purchases pur-chases totaling $120,337. The field office also bought carrots worth $58,695 and miscellaneous produce valued at $40,568. The office has closed for the season.
