Show flecla Mrs. Melba Eksund Open House For Mr. & Mrs. Duncan Open house was held Sunday Sun-day afternoon at the home of home of Evelyn Rhodes in honor hon-or of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Duncan, who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Many friends and relatives cail-ed cail-ed to pay their respects. The Northern Gas and Appliance Ap-pliance Co. is installing a gas furnace in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Malnar. The misses Carol Memmott and Maurine Ivory were overnight over-night guests at the homes of Phyllis Eksund and Sherene Henrie Tuesday night. The Bee Hive dance Tuesday 5 after Mutual was well attended by the young folks of our ward. A number of people from here attended the funeral services ser-vices for Mrs. Workman in Ioka Thursday and for Mrs. Bill Chandler in Avalon, Tuesday. Tues-day. Paul Nelson, of Roosevelt, and Curt Walton, of Heber City, took a group of girls ice skating skat-ing Thursday after school. Enjoying En-joying the sport were Diane Nelson, Beoma Young;, Maria Poulos, Nancy Rockwood, Dorothy Dor-othy Dillman, Phyllis Eksund, Sherene Henrie, Jennett Smith-json Smith-json and Carolyn Smith. . Mr. and Mrs. Richard Eksund and family, and Mrs. Golden Hatch and family, of Vernal, were guests Sunday of Mr. and I Mrs. Ron Eksund. |
