Show FORT DUCHESNE WOMEN'S CLUB Mrs. R. L. Beardall, chairman for the evening's program of the Fort Duchesne Woman's club at their regular meeting Thursday, Jan. 25, introduced as her guest speaker Mrs. Vere Johnson, of Roosevelt. Mrs. Johnson further developed the club's theme of study for the year by very ably speaking on "Educating Our Youth Toward a Mature Generation Gene-ration Through Family Living." She stressed and illustrated in many ways the great importance of making our children and youth feel that they are a definite def-inite part of the family unit. Mrs. R. O. Curry and Mrs, Ross lorg, hostesses for the evening, eve-ning, served refreshments to fourteen members and guests, Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. John L.' Swenson, also of Roosevelt. CANASTA PARTY Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Angus entertained en-tertained last Saturday night at a Canasta party in compliment to the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. Martin R. Curtis, of Fort Duchesne, Mr. and Mrs. Leg Hancock, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Killian and Mrs. Pearl Moysh. Climaxing the affair was a lovely bllffot supper served by the hostess, A ih SURPRISE PARTY A surprise party honored Miss JeNeal Pack on her 14th birthday birth-day last Thursday night, when twenty-two friends congregated at the home of Miss Renae El-dredge El-dredge to help her celebrate the occasion. ! A beautiful pink and white birthday cake, decorated with pink sweetpeas and pink candles can-dles centered the table, Games were enjoyed and the complimented guest was the recipient re-cipient of many lovely gifts. e BRIDGETTE CLUB FETED Entertaining members' of Bridgette last Thursday night was Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, who served a delicious luncheon to the following club members and guests: Mrs. Steve Bellon, Mrs. Bill Nelson, Mrs. Parley Rawlings, Mrs. Orson Stevens,. Mrs. Clem Labrum, Mrs. Johnnie Cook, Mrs. Lynn Hatch, Mrs. Vean Bair, Mrs Marvel Nielson, Mrs. Mont Killian and Mrs. Ken Ay-pock. Ay-pock. Bridge was played and prizes won by Mrs. Bellon, Mrs. Nelson, Nel-son, Mrs. Bair and Mrs. Killian. A beautiful potted amaryllis plant added a cheerful touch for the occasion. BRIDGE LUNCHEON i j Suggestive of the Valentine , motif in table decorations and favors was the lovely bridge luncheon presided over last Thursday afternoon at the Frontier Fron-tier Grill by Mrs. V. A. Bair. Comprising her guest list were Mrs. Paul Wilkins, Mrs. Sarn Weiss, Mrs. Les Mull ins, Mrs. Ray Jordan, Mrs, Eugene Harmston, Mrs. J. V. MeLea, Mrs. Gordon Harmston. SAFEWAY PARTY The Frontier Grill was the scene of a gay party Saturday evening, January 27, when Safeway Safe-way employees and their partners part-ners enjoyed a delicious T-bone steak dinner. Following dinner, the group enjoyed a picture show at the Roosevelt theatre. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Gabbert.
