Show Roosevelt Will Most Teacher Conference ALTAMONT In accordance with the philosophy of leading educators in the state and nation, na-tion, the Duchesne county board of education lias granted the teaching personnel and all staff members February 5 as a day of professional leadership consultation, con-sultation, reports F. Robert Paulsen, Paul-sen, principal of the Altamont high school and chairman of the Duchesne education association. associa-tion. Through the officers of the county association, plans are being formulated to conduct this school on the basis of ten informative panels headed by a chairman, and utilizing the services ser-vices of special consultants in various fields. Issues of extreme importance in the field of education edu-cation are to be discussed. Among these are: "School Finance," Fi-nance," "State and District School Administration," "The School Program," "Cultural Developments De-velopments of . the School and Community." and "The Problem Prob-lem Child." Mr. Paulsen, states that he has asked for consultant services ser-vices from the State Department Depart-ment of Education and' from leading institutions of higher learning. An invitation to the people of Duchesne county is extended by the Duchesne education association asso-ciation to attend these sessions and panel discussions as special guests. It is the hope of the district dis-trict association that enough interest in-terest is prevalent among citizens citi-zens of . our county to enable them to set aside Feb. 5 as a day of educational discussion. Those who attend this leadership leader-ship school, to be held ct Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, may attend any of the various panel discusions. Officers of the Duchesne education ed-ucation association planning the leadership school are Mr. Paulsen, Paul-sen, president; Vola Hancock, Bluebell, vice - president: and Verona Goodrich, Roosevelt, secretary. |
