Show Mrs. J. E. Jensen Bishop Austin Waidle of Le-ota Le-ota ward visited Primary Tuesday Tues-day and talked to the children. L L. Knight, of Bountiful, called on friends here Thursday. The Family Institute held its first meeting Thursday at 1:30. Dr. Noble gave a very interesting interest-ing discussion on "Cooperation between School, Church and Community in Building Family Relations." The people who couldn't attend the meeting here attended the meetings at Jensen and Ballard. ; A number of people from here went to Maeser to hear the lectures lec-tures given bv Dr. Skidmore and Prof Black. The discussion was verv enlightening. To close these fine lectures. Dr. Roskelly showed a film, after af-ter which he discussed the topic, "Who Makes the Family's Decisions." De-cisions." Prof Black helped with the discussion. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall celebrated cel-ebrated their silver wedding anniversary an-niversary on Jan. 27. Mr. and Mrs. Frank McMullin and son. Chester, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Harris, of Mt. Emmons. I Stake visitors at meeting Sunday Sun-day were Melvin Peterson and Howard Andrews, of Roosevelt Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wahlquist Wahl-quist had their baby named and blessed Sunday. They gave him the name "Clayton Charles." The Leota and Randlett Pri-I Pri-I mary workers who attended i stake union meeting at Roose-jvelt Roose-jvelt Saturday were Jean Rogers, ! Afton Rogers, Melva Jorpenson, Betty Jensen. Venice Durfee and Delsa Durfee, of Leota: Viola Vi-ola Jensen, Madge Wall. Lawrence Law-rence Wall, Zelpha Wall and Hannah Harris, of Randlett. Hannah Harris was awarded a certificate for 100 per cent attendance at-tendance at Primary meetings. |
