Show Ward Gold-Green Ball Held Jan. 23 The Altonah ward Gold and Green ball was held Tuesday night in the ward hall. Donna Maxfield was the queen, with Perry Maxfield as prince charming. charm-ing. Minnie Lue Jessen, Homer Weeks, Elaine Carroll and Du-ane Du-ane Young were their attendants. attend-ants. Tommy Carroll was the crown bearer; and Bonnie Jessen, Jes-sen, Dora Ames and Pamela Powell were flower girls. Taking part in the floor show were Sherral Ames, Bill Ralphs, Zora Page, Jack Carroll, Barbara Bar-bara Anderson, Don Carroll, Cleo Clark, Kenneth Ralphs, La-Rae La-Rae Hill, Willard Bowden, Ola Maxfield and Rex Allred. A Duchesne orchestra furnished furn-ished music for the dancing. Mrs. Minnie Reay, of Canada, is here visiting her son. Dean, and daughter, Mrs. Lee Jessen, and their families. Tommie Carroll had his tonsils ton-sils removed Saturday at the Roosevelt hospital. Clenty Ames, who is working in Salt Lake City, spent the week-end with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Beebe, of Salem, Mr. and Mrs. Morrell Prows, of Tooele, and Mr. and Mrs. George Payne, of Salt Lake City, called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe Saturday. The many friends of Jack Fisher and family, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Shiner and Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher wish to express deepest sympathy during their bereavement at the loss of their loved one, Mrs. Jean Fisher. A large crowd from here attended at-tended the Moon Lake stake quarterly conference at Mt. Emmons, Em-mons, Sunday. |
