Show Building Bonds Are County's Only Liability The only liability for Duchesne County is $147,000 in courthouse building bonds. Assets as of Jan. 1, 1955, are totaled at $345,500.00. Itemization of assets as shown on the annual financial statement of Duchesne County is $80,000.00, road equipment and supplies; $1,-500, $1,-500, noxious weed control equipment equip-ment and supplies; $225,000, real estate and buildings; $1,000, election elec-tion equipment; $7,000, law library li-brary and court equipment; $7,000, jail and equipment; $2,000, courthouse court-house supplies and equipment; $22,000, office equipment and supplies. sup-plies. A comparison of assets shows the amount for 1953 was $169,-1 $169,-1 061.04 for the county. The greatest great-est difference in the assets valuation valu-ation is for real estate and buildings, build-ings, which jumped from $15,000 in 1953 to $225,000 in 1954. During Dur-ing that period the new courthouse court-house building was constructed. Liabilities for the county in 1953 were listed at $160,000 . for courthouse building bonds. Until the bond issue for the courthouse was made, Duchesne County had been free of liabilities for several years. |
