Show Union High School Senior Girls Honored At Annual BPW Tea Highlighted this week on the local lo-cal social calendar was the annual an-nual Business and Professional Women's Club Tea, given in honor hon-or of the Senior girls of Union High School, at the Parley Raw-lings' Raw-lings' residence in Roosevelt. More than a hundred guests called Monday evening between the hours of 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., and were graciously welcomed by Mrs. Veda Jensen, Mrs. Virginia Lielson, Mrs. Virgie Murphy and Mrs. Adelyn Logan, who formed the receiving line. Hostesses were Mrs. Ellen Rawlings and Mrs. Zora Gardner. Covering the tea table was a metallic threaded cloth with bronze border insets, with a beautiful beau-tiful arrangement of coral colored gladioli and Calla lillies forming the centerpiece. Lighted white tapers in bronze holders added a completed accent to the table. Pouring at intervals were Mrs. Jesse Allen, Mrs. Mattie Edwards, Mrs. J. O. Orser and Mrs., Bee Jordan. Dining room hostess was Mrs. Rhoda Rudy, assisted by Mrs. Minnie Min-nie Lou Stevenson and Mrs. Midge Memmott. During the evening a musical program was presented under the direction of Mrs.' Virgie Murphy, with the following selections offered: of-fered: vocal solos, Mrs. Erma Anderton, An-derton, Miss Janet Stevens and Mrs. Nadine Hintze; a vocal duet and trio numbers, Mrs. Hintze, Miss Steven and Mrs. JoAnn Mc-Kenna. Mc-Kenna. Accompanists were Mrs. Helen Larson and Miss Marilyn Anderson. Deed red roses and an arrangement arrange-ment of pink sweetpeas furnished a decorative touch for the occasion. occas-ion.
