Show County Ends 1954 With 86,723 let Cash Balance Duchesne County ended the 1954 year with a $86,723.74 cash balance. This amount is nearly 50 per cent less than the 1953 ending end-ing balance of $162,651.03. Balances shown in the various funds at the beginning of 1955 by Porter L. Merrill, county auditor, are: $21,058.36 in general; $6,-311.19, $6,-311.19, in noxious weed control; $1,965.25, in extension service; $22,979.06 in the county roads; $7,966.58, in the poor fund; $24,-790.46 $24,-790.46 in bonds; $883.61, in Colorado Col-orado River Development; $1,-558.63, $1,-558.63, in exhibits; $114.03 in airport. air-port. Only one deficit was shown in the cash balance sheet released for publication by Mr. Merrell. This was $903.43 deficit in the courthouse fund. In two funds, the memorials and special road (class B and C), no balance was listed at the end of 1954. Total receipts and transfers for the year amounted to $276,649.04, and disbursements and transfers came to $352,576.33. |
