Show "Brazil" To Be Theme Of RHS Junior Prom Juniors of the class of '52, of Roosevelt high school, announce that plans are progressing rapidly rap-idly for the Junior Prom, which is scheduled for Friday, May 4 comencing at 9 p. m. The annual event will be held at Victory Park, which will be elaborately decorated in keeping with the chosen theme, "Brazil." The Rendlesbach orchestra from Salt Lake City will be the featured music. Many will re- I member this orchestra from their appearance in the Basin last year, when Mr. Pond was a member of the Roosevelt faculty. fac-ulty. The various committee heads include the class officers Val Anderton, president; Joan Cra-po, Cra-po, vice-president; Inez Houtz, secretary; Merlynn Ross, reporter; report-er; Ina Lee Nelson, assembly chairman; Gayle Gilbert, decorating deco-rating chairman; and Joyce Burr, advertising chairman. The event, to which the public is cordially invited, promises to be very outstanding. |
