Show To Submit To Fourth Operation Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Broome have received word that their I son, Richard Broome, who was injured several months ago in Salt Lake City, while at work, would return to the L.D.S. hospital, hos-pital, April 26, to undergo a fourth operation. Miss Nancy Todd spent Sunday Sun-day visiting her parents, Mr. iand Mrs. Fred Todd, returning that evening to Duchesne, where i she is employed as assistant to Dr. Zabriskie. j Mrs. Wm. H. Koehler. of Ver-'nal, Ver-'nal, was a week-end guest at the home of Mrs. Bliss Lott. Mrs. Wm. Forsythe and Mrs. Merl Benson, of Roosevelt, visited vis-ited Myton friends, Saturday. Mrs. Earl Eggleston and daughter, Mrs. Alice McGaragle, of Salt Lake City, spent the week-end at the Eggleston ranch east of town. Among those from Myton who attended the American Legion Le-gion District party as guests of the Witbeck post at Vernal. Saturday Sat-urday evening, were Blaine Bro-kaw, Bro-kaw, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Giles, Mrs. Virginia Klapakis, Calvin Monks, Mr. and Mrs. Denzel Hemphill and Mr. and Mrs. James Delgleish. Week-end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott were Mrs. Lott's daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Montgomery; her mother, Mrs. Amelia Legg; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Gor-don Legg and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jo-seph Legg, all of Salt Lake City. ANNOUNCE MARRIAGE Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mer- anda, of American Fork, spent the week-end at their ranch west of town. They report their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Neiderhauser, visited them last week when en-route en-route to Seattle, Wash., from the University of Kansas officers training school, where Mr. Neiderhauser Neid-erhauser has been in training for the past several months. The young couple were married mar-ried February 1 in the Kansas State university chapel in a candlelight ceremony performed I by Rev. B. A. Rogers in the presence of the parents of both parties. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Neiderhauser, of 701-5th Ave., Salt Lake City. The bride is the former Marilyn Meranda, and made her home here in her early youth. The newlyweds will make a home in Seattle while Mr. Neiderhauser Neid-erhauser is stationed there. Linda Jer.son was hostess to members of the 4th grade and their teacher, Mrs. Iva Adams, Thursday afternoon, assisted by her mother, Mrs.-Wesley Jenson. Linda has been ill during the term and unable to attend school. Her classmates presented her with many lovely gifts. Stories, Stor-ies, games and delicious refreshments refresh-ments were enjoyed by the jolly crowd. T Mrs- .Cleon Sproul, of Salt Lake City, visited at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson, before returning return-ing home Sunday evening accompanied ac-companied by her mother, 'who will spend two weeks in Salt Lake City with Mrs. Sproule and another daughter, Mrs Wen-day Wen-day Workman, and her son William Wil-liam Robinson. Mrs. H. K. Palmer, who is spending some time here attending at-tending to property interests was a week-end guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Dennis. Mrs. Iva Adams visited in Du- sn? Sunday at the homes of Mrs. J. P. Madsen and Mrs. Tat-ton Tat-ton Bench, both of whom are former Duchesne elementary teachers and co-workers with Mrs. Adams when she was a member of the Duchesne school faculty. |
