Show 1 ieetch-Sennett 4-H Club Makes Trip To Jensen Gerold Bolton, leader of the 4 H Club, took his troop to Jensen Jen-sen Saturday. The boys enjoyed their lunch on the bank of the river and visited several 4-H projects. Making the trip were D. Ray Hall, Billy Haslem, Lowell D. Long, Roy Springer, Bruce Bow-en, Bow-en, Gary Hall and Bobby Long. Mr-and Mrs. Paul McKissen, of Vernal, were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Houston. The women are cousins. Mrs. Keith Bowen returned from Vernal Monday with her new baby. Wesley Bastian has purchased the farm belonging to Elmer Gardner in Hayden. Monday was a big day for Mr. and Mrs. Richard Coltharp they were presented with a baby boy, at the Roosevelt hospital. He will go by the name Richard Nichols. Mrs. George Houston entertained enter-tained Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Yack at a birthday dinner Tuesday Tues-day evening in remembrance of George's birthday anniversary. The house was decorated with daffodils. Canasta was the game of the evening. Members of the Relief Society were entertained by the Neola Relief Society literature class, last Tuesday, at the Neola cha-: pel. ! Patsy Gray was ill two days last week and unable to attend school. j Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bowen have a baby boy born at the Vernal hospital last Monday April 16. This gives them three boys. j Mr. and Mrs. Vern Hamaker and Miss Robertson, now employed em-ployed at Tooele, were home over ov-er the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tidwell, manager of the R.E.A. booster plant, spent Sunday in Boneta with Mr. and Mrs. Ben Perkins. Elmer Gardner has purchased the Green Lakes resort on the mountain north of Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Goodrich, of Roosevelt, spent Sunday with Mrs. Dave Gaines at Hayden. Mrs. Winfred Long and sons, Kenneth and Lowell D, were in Vernal Friday to attend the music festival. Mrs. Ardath Gray has returned return-ed from New York. Her husband hus-band will sail for Europe soon on the carrier U.S.S. Oriskany. Mrs. John Haslem went to Vernal Thursday to visit her mother, Mrs. Wm. Hartle. Mr. and Mrs. Rolley have sold their place, known as the Evans place, and have purchased a farm at Myton. They moved last week. At present no one is living liv-ing in the house they vacated. Garnett Birchell has drilled a well for George Houston, who has a fine flow of water. Garnett Gar-nett has moved his drill on to Vernal to do some drilling there. |
