Show Basin Baseball League Selects Officers Roe McDonald, of Roosevelt last night was elected president of the Basin Baseball league to preside over affairs of the 1951 season with Charles Bolton, of Bennett, as the choice for vice-president, vice-president, and Richard Curry, of Ft. Duchesne, t(s secretary-treasurer. secretary-treasurer. Several matters of importance were discussed pertaining to adopting schedules and date for beginning play, and a meeting was set for Wednesday, May 2, at the high school to decide these pertinent matters. Buck's Sporting Goods, of Price-Rich-field, was represented at the meeting by George Young, and displayed various kinds of equipment. equip-ment. Teams represented at the meeting were Roosevelt .Bennett, .Ben-nett, Fort Duchesne, Montwel and Randlett. It is hoped that either Neola or Myton will vote to join the league, thus making it a six-team affair. |
