Show I Altmah D.U.P. Holds Meet At Ralphs Home j The Altonah Daughters of the Utah Pioneers held their regular meeting Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Twila Ralphs. Mrs. Alora Kolb gave the lesson, after which refreshments were served to the following members: mem-bers: Mrs. Minnie Maxfield, Mrs. LaRue Fisher, Mrs. Francis All-red, All-red, Mrs. Mary Riley, Mrs. Marian Mar-ian Reese, Mrs. Vendetta Clark, Mrs. Margaret Maxfield, Mrs. Reba Timothy, Mrs. Alora Kolb; and Mrs. Bert Maxfield, Mrs. James Elliott and Mrs. Charles Elliott, visitors. Nephi Smlthson, of Neola, was in Altonah Monday. - Mr. and Mrs. Bert Maxfield, of Emery, Utah; Mr. and Mrs. James Elliott and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Elliott, of Freemont,, spent several days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Maxfield. The Mrs. Elliotts are sisters of Mr. Maxfield, and Bert Maxfield is a brother. Richard Olsen, of Neola, was in town Friday testing and vaccinating vac-cinating cattle for Bangs disease. Mrs. Laura Mohlman returned home during the week after spending some time with her daughter, Mrs. Vera Hansen, in Roosevelt. Wm. E Clark has purchased a new G.M.C. truck. Mr. and Mrs. Tuff Reay, of iloka, was in Altonah Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. J. Arthur Timo-jthy Timo-jthy are the parents of a baby 'girl born April 16 at the Roos-jevelt Roos-jevelt hospital. Hardy Perkins and Milton An-' An-' derson made a business trip to Heber one day last week. Ed Davis accompanied Floyd Farnsworth to Carbon county, Farmington and Salt Lake City on business during the week. Sheriff Arzy Mitchell, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, was in town on business one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Deloss Bird, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend week-end with Mrs. Bird's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Linford Maxfield. A number from Altonah attended at-tended the wedding dance for Mr. and Mrs. Deloss Bird in Bluebell Saturday night. Mrs. J. Arthur Timothy and new daughter were able to come home from the hospital Satur- d3Mr. and Mrs. Bob Berrett, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend week-end with home folks. . |
