Show Ellen Bracken Brothers Meet After Separation Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mangum and family, of Salt Lake City, spent the week-end at the home of Mr. Mangum's brother. Squire Mangum. This is the first time the brothers have met for several' sev-eral' years. The Marvin Man-gums Man-gums have only recently moved to Salt Lake City from southern Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Erold Wiscombe and baby and Mr. and Mrs. Ar-1 thur Wiscombe and baby, of Provo, were week-end guests at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wiscombe. Arthur Ar-thur was a speaker at the Roosevelt Roos-evelt stake conference. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross, of Vernal, have been staying at the home of Mrs. Ross' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hatch. Both Mr. and Mrs. Ross have been confined to bed with flu. Frank Bingham drove to Park City Friday, where he spent the week-end at the home of his brother, Melvin, and family. Blaine and Betty Elmer, students stu-dents at Alterra high school, spent the past week-end in Og-den Og-den at the home of their parents, par-ents, Mr. and - Mrs. Raymond Elmer. Mr. and Mrs. Noble Clark, of Salt Lake City, visited at the L. E. Clark home last week. Francis Todd, of Salt Lake, spent two nights at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bracken last week. Francis was a former Ballard resident. , Mrs. Earl Gardner was taken to the Roosevelt hospital early Sunday morning. She has been ill at her home for some time. Mr. and Mrs. John Page are the parents of a baby girl born at the Roosevelt hospital Friday, April 20. Mrs. Ole Rasmussen entertained entertain-ed a group of friends of her son Max, honoring his birthday, Saturday Sat-urday afternoon. The children feasted on ice cream and cake at the Rasmussen home, then Mrs. Rasmussen took them to the picture show at Kooseven. ' Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Antonio, of Albuquergue, N. M., were guests last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Angus Anderson. Mrs. Ann Norman and Mrs. Jennie Haddock and daughter called Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. C, Cos-ton- , Mr. and Mrs. Mont S. Poulson and daughter, Joan, of Duchesne, viisted Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. George Ross, Mar Ross and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Stanley went to Salt Lake City last week to do some recordings. Cloyd Wiscombe and Lynn Bracken participated in the track meet held at Vernal Saturday. Sat-urday. Several other students from Ballard went over Friday. Lyle Pickup, son of Mr. and Mrs. LaRue Pickup, of Randlett, who was a patient at a Vernal hospital for some time, will stay with his grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Coston to continue his studies at Alterra high school during the remainder of the term. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Snyder and family, of Altonah. were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham. Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Stolla and daughter, Clara, .have been ' recent re-cent visitors in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Mariner McMul-lin McMul-lin and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walquist, of Randlett. called at the home of Mrs. Pearl Jenkins, Sunday. |
