Show In The Service Of Country BILLINGS WITBECK Pfc. Billings Witbeck. son of Mrs. Margaret Witbeck, Route 2, Roosevelt, Utah, was released from active duty Jan. 30 at the Army Separation Center in Camp Carson, Colo. He spent six months in Germany Ger-many as a radio operator with the 27th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion. Witbeck was a farmer before entering the Army in February. 1951. LAVON K. TIMOTHY CAMP CARSON, COLO. Pfc. Lavon K. Timothy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lavon Timothy, of Bonanza, Utah, was released from active duty Jan. 29 at the Army Separation Center in Camp Carson, Colo. He spent six months in Trieste Tri-este as a rifleman with the 351st Infantry Regiment. Timothy attended Altamont High School and was employed by the American Gilsonite Co., Bonanza, before entering the Army in February, 1951. A HVi-foot tusk of a mammoth mam-moth has been unearthed at the Philmont Scout Ranch, the 127,-000-acre wilderness camp of the Boy Scouts of America near j Cimarron, New Mexico. |
