Show Montwel-f.lonarcli By B3itie Mower Ward Mouse Scene Of Polio Dance A polio dance was held at the church, Feb. 3 to gain funds for the polio drive. Refreshments Refresh-ments were sold and a large crowd attended. Reese Timothy provided the music. The Junior Gleaners, , Mia Maids, Junior M Men and Explorers Ex-plorers practiced the dances Saturday Sat-urday night that they presented at the Explorers and M Men tournament this wee. I HOME FROM SERVICE Connell Parry arrived home Monday from spending two years fighting for Uncle Sam. i Part of the two years was spent in Korea. He intends to visit here a while before he goes to California te attend a Q. I. school. Ward Primary Preparation meeting was held Monday at the church house. Mrs. Verda Campbell Camp-bell and Mrs. Ora Labrum, of the stake presidency attended. Others attending were Mrs. Minnie Min-nie Crapo, Mrs. Hazel Brown, Mrs. Effie Taylor, Mrs. Margaret Margar-et Boren, Mrs. Leta Woodard, Mrs. May Mower, LaRene Adams Ad-ams and Mrs. Evelyn Roberts. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Alexander Alexan-der went to Vernal Monday night to a Young Farmers meeting, meet-ing, where Parley gave a talk on soil conservation. Harvey Adams has been elected elect-ed water director for here for 1953. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Nelson were Inez Brown, James and Kay Hamblin Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nelson and family, ilenry iNei-son iNei-son and Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Shaw. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening were Mrs. John Cook, High Councilman Louis Jensen and Scout Executive Execu-tive Carl Holley. Some pictures were shown on Scouting. |
