Show Lemo Williams Betty I org To Be Sweetheart Queen Miss Betty Iorg, of Upalco, was chosen to be Altamont High school's Sweetheart Queen. Betty is a senior at Altamont and will represent Altamont at the Basin Sweetheart Ball, to be held at Union High school February 14th. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cum-mings, Cum-mings, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cum-mings Cum-mings visited this week with Mr. and Mrs., Lee Jensen and family, of Neola. Ars. Oscar Nelson, Jr. has spent the last month visiting with his mother and family in Salt Lake City. A farewell party was held last Monday night for Boyd Redding who entered the army, with Benn C. Gomm as guest speaker. speak-er. Outsiders who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Evans and family, of Mt. Emmons, and Roy Mecham, of Ioka. A birthday party was held Saturday afternoon for Kenneth Carrell and son, Bobby. Those who attended were Mr. and Mrs. George Robers and son, Fay, of Mt. Emmons; Miss Flora Tanner, of Myton; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Carrell, Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Williams, of Upalco; Mrs. Kenneth Carrel, Marilyn Carrell and the honored guests. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Dennis and children, of Salt Lake, visited vis-ited with Mr. and Mrs. Percy Potts during the week. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Murphy made a trip to Salt Lake during the week. Gary Taylor visited with Mr. and Mrs. Norman Murphy and family, of Roosevelt during the week. Bill Taylor made a trip to Denver this week on business. . Mr. and Mrs. Milton- Ricks is back driving milk truck after being ill for the past two weeks. Mrs. Farrell Molhman, David Gailey. of Altamont, were visitors vis-itors at Sunday School, Sunday. The small son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Ricks was blessed in meeting, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Reese and children, of Ogden, visited with Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Murphy during dur-ing the week. |
