Show Roosevelt District . . Scout Court OfMonor Set For February 19 The Roosevelt ward Scout Troop No. 251 will be hosts to a Court of Honor on Thursday, Feb. 19, at the stake house, beginning be-ginning at 8 o'clock p.m., is an announcement made this week by Carl Holley, regional field executive. Omni Winterton is the scoutmaster of the host troop. The court of honor committee is composed of Wesley R. Dick-erson, Dick-erson, chairman; Russell H. Rob-ison, Rob-ison, Don Nielson, Dr. Paul G. Stringham, Robert L. Montgomery, Montgom-ery, Harvey Adams, Arvin Bel-Ion Bel-Ion and Robert Andrews. Parade marshall for the court of honor will be Homer Cook, member of Troop No. 252, with Mr. Holley as scribe. Following is the program as announced by Mr. Holley: Prelude, Dwain Buchanan; entry en-try of Court of Honor staff; opening op-ening prayer; parade of National Nation-al colors; opening ceremony; welcome from the host troop; introduction of the chairman of the court. The 'basic awards of Scouting "Ordeal of Youth" - Second Class, Pres. Hollis G. Hullinger; "The Chivalry of Today" - First Class. Paul Murphy; "Heritage of Americans" - Merit Badges, Russell H. Robison; "Trail to Manhood" - The Star Rank, Louis A. Jensen. Song, "Trail the Eagle;" retrieve re-trieve colors; closing prayer. |
