Show Returning to their home in Springville last week after spending spend-ing the holidays at the John Swenson home were Mrs. Swen-son's Swen-son's mother, Mrs. Zelma Beardall, and son, Paul. Floyd Ross reported this week that his father, Lynn Ross, of Arcadia, is still very ill in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, where he has been receiving treatment since December 18. He has undergone two operations. Mrs. Pearl Swain returned Tuesday from Salt Lake City, after af-ter SDendins the holidays with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Page. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Nixon and daughters, Dorothy Dean and Karen, returned last week after spending the Christmas holidays in San Francisco with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nixon. They reported spending spend-ing New Year's Day with Bishop 1 and Mrs. Horace Richie, former Roosevelt residents. Mrs. George Taylor returned last Sunday from Logan, where she has been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. David Lunt and new baby daughter, who was born Dec. 26 at the Vernal Hospital. The little Miss weighed 6 lbs. 1 oz. and has been named "Randi." Mrs. Lunt is Mrs. Taylor's daughter. Mr. and Mrs. David Watkins and family spent the weekend in Pocatello, Idaho, visiting friends. Recent guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ned Bellon were Mr. and Mrs. Vean Bair, former Roosevelt residents. Returning home last Saturday after spending a month in Pasadena, Pasa-dena, California, with the Ted Tusler family, were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ferron. Mr. Ferron stated that he had been under the weather weath-er with a bad cold, but is gradually grad-ually improving. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marimon, of Salt Lake City, were weekend visitors at the home of Mrs. J. O. Orser. Muse Harris is in the Holy Cross Hospital recovering for an operation which he underwent Monday morning. It is reported i by his family that he is getting along fine. His son, Albert, is in the Veterans' Hospital receiving medical attention. Relatives visiting Mr. Harris Monday were: Mr. and Mrs. Norman Nor-man Holmes, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Sutteer, Mr. and. Mrs. Max Bur-dick, Bur-dick, and Mrs. Floyd Wilkerson. Bingham visitors last Sunday and Monday were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Edwards. |
