NEOLA By Lecta Horrocks Rhae's Market Sets Opanins On January 15th A new business establishment is onenins its doors to tiie public this" Saturday, January 15th. To be known as "Rhae's Market," it will feature groceries, drugs, notions, no-tions, hardware, fresh produce, etc. It is located in , the same building as the Leland Peterson service station. Mr. and Mrs. Deone Spencer spent last Wednesday evening in Roosevelt, celebrating the birthday birth-day of their daughter, Mrs. Lyle Morrill. The Melvin Wilson family is rejoicing over the arrival of a new son in the family, who made his debut last week at the Roosevelt Roose-velt Hospital. He was welcome home by two older brothers and a sister. Mr. and Mrs. Fred LaRose motored mo-tored to Salt Lake City last weekend, week-end, where Mr. LaRose is receiving re-ceiving medical attention for an ear ailment. During their stay, they visited with the Melvin Jex family, who reside in Spanish For. The Jexes lived here two years ago, when Mr. Jex was the school principal. Mr. and Mrs. Art Mitchell and family, of Murray, spent the past several days here visiting at the Elroy Halverson home. Mr. Mitchell Mitch-ell is employed at the Kennecott Copper Co. t The Pat Duncan home received a pleasant surprise last Saturday by the visit of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Lar-ry Stout, who are honeymooning in this vicinity. Mr.- Stout is a nephew of Mrs. Duncan, and is a resident of Midvale. P-TA SETS MEETING The January meeting of the Neola Ne-ola P-TA is scheduled for next Monday, Jan. 17th. A panel discussion dis-cussion on Mental Health will be presented; also a skit. Light re freshments will be served. All interested in-terested are cordially invited to attend. Schoolmates of Clair Olsen met at his home last Monday after-j after-j noon to celebrate his eighth bii th- day. Seventeen little friends en-j en-j joyed the games and party re-i re-i freshmenls, under the supervision om his mother, Mrs. Lerval Olsen. I Mr. and Mrs. Norman Holmes I motored to Salt Lake City last Sunday to be near the father of Mrs. Holmes, who underwent an I operation -there. Mr. and Mrs. Grover Dye, accompanied ac-companied by Mr. and Mrs. Reed McKee of Tridell, spent Tuesday in Salt Lake City. While there, they went through a session at i the Temple. LEAVES FOR MISSION Mr. and Mrs. Dellis Spencer accompanied ac-companied their son, Orlo, to Salt Lake City last Tuesday. There he boarded the train for San Francisco, Fran-cisco, where he embarked for a I three-week trip to New Zealand, ! where he will serve as an L.D.S. t missionary for the next thirty months. !
