Show LAPOINT Mrs. Mable Jenkini A Polio Patient Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lee took Helen Bigelow to Salt Lake City, Friday afternoon to the General Hospital with Polio. She was accompanied ac-companied by her mother, Mrs. Vera Bigelow, and an aunt, Mrs. Orpha Kump. The Lees returned home that night. Jess Labrum, who has been in the Roosevelt Hospital the past 10 days was taken to the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. Dr. and Mrs. Mathew Mansfield and son, of Moab, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Golden Winn. Charmaine Labrum, of Salt Lake City, is staying with her mother, Pearl Labrum, while Mr. Labrum is in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. Joyce Labrum is staying in Roosevelt and attending Union High School. The sisters and brothers of Roy Taylor of Bridgeland were his last Sunday dinner guests. They were Mr. and Mrs. George Nyberg and son, Allen, and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Taylor, all from Lapoint. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Hacking and son, David, were guests of Mrs. Hacking's mother, Mrs. Lyd-ia Lyd-ia Nielson, during the Christmas i holidays. Bert Swain, of American Fork, visited his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Swain and family, and a sister, Mrs. Mildred Mowrey, last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Harrison Harri-son took their son, Dale, and Darrus Rasmussen back to college col-lege at Provo, after spending the Christmas vacation with home folks. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Rasmussen are grandparents of a baby girl, bom to Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Glines, of Orem. Mrs. Sarah Norton is a great-grandmother great-grandmother of a baby boy, born to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Norton, of Roosevelt, and a grand-mother of a baby girl, born to Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Glines, of Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Osborne and children, chil-dren, of Riverton, spent New Year's with her mother, Mrs. Af-ton Af-ton Forakis and Mike Forakis. Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Caldwell and son, of Vernal, spent the holidays hol-idays with Buddy's father, Lawrence Law-rence Caldwell. Lawrence left Tuesday for Portland, Oregon to visit his mother, Rae Caldwell. Mrs. Phoeby Horrocks and Mia Maid girls gathered at the home of JeNeal Harrison last Wednesday Wednes-day evening. Games were played and lunch was served. Hank , Swain, of Roosevelt, visited vis-ited Mr. and Mrs. Orvill Swain and family and Mildred Mowrey on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Clive Sprouse and daughter, Judy, of Bridge-land, Bridge-land, and Sandra Richens, of Myton, My-ton, Francis Harrison and son, Phillip of Roosevelt, were guests of Mrs. Mae Sprouse last Sunday. Mrs. Mae Sprouse is a great-grandmother great-grandmother of a baby girl, born to Mr. and Mrs. Leon Sprouse at the Roosevelt Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor, of Bridgeland, spent last Saturday with Mrs. Taylor's sister, Mr and Mrs. Charlie Bigelow. Mr. and Mrs. Thurmer Rasmussen Rasmus-sen attended her two grandsons, grand-sons, Phillip and Bobby, while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Lowe went to California to attend at-tend the Rose Bowl football game and visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Winn took their baby to the Roosevelt Hospital Hos-pital Monday, very ill. Mrs. Fern Anderson went to Salt Lake City by bus, Saturday morning for a medical check-up, and to visit her daughter, Phyllis. |
