Show Mrs. Garda Seeley Gold znd Green Ball Bs Held The Gold and Green Ball was held on Tuesday night and was very successful. The theme was "Marshmallow World." Scenes on the wall were pictures depicting marshmallow world. There were 24 boys and girls participating in the floor show. They were Shan-na Shan-na Lee Winkler, Drew Goodrich, Colleen Roberts, Jay Goodrich, Marilyn Jennings, Dal Seeley, Elaine Jenkins, Bob Goodrich, Janet Jan-et Seeley, Kent Remington, Daph-ine Daph-ine Lisonbee, Garth Remington, Lucy Bird, Julia Bristol, Elsie Bird, Carma Atwood, Elwayne Gayle, Jerry Bird, Carolyn Goodrich, Good-rich, Lynn Cook, Larry Lisonbee, Phil Mathews, DaRae Monsen and Paul Monsen. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mathews, of Bonanza, are the proud parents of a baby girl, born Jan. 4 at the Vernal Hospital. The little Miss will be known as Linda Arlene. This makes two children for the Mathews, the other one is a boy. Proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich, who have 7 grandchildren, and Mr. and Mrs. Claud Mathews, who have 21 grandchildren and Mrs. Verona Winkler, great-grandmother to the new baby, boasts 41 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hugh Percival and children and Mrs. John Angus, of Ioka, and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Remund, of Duchesne, and John Webb, of Price, were guests at the Orie Cook home one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Stone, of Lehi visited on Wednesday and Thursday here with relatives. They were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich. Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich, Mrs. Sylvia Goodrich and Mrs. Alice Mathews went to Vernal on Saturday to visit with Mrs. Carma Mathews, who was in the hospital. Mrs. Raebelle Allred, of Vernal, Ver-nal, visited here with her mother, Mrs. James Bird. Callers at the Lee Lisonbee home and other relatives one day during the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Rust of Mt. Emmons, Mr. and Mrs. Mohte Williams and two boys and Mrs. Mary Lisonbee Lison-bee of Roosevelt. |
