Show Alva Snow Escapes injury in Two Accidents An accident in which Alva Snow and his four-year old twins, Marilyn and Marlon, were involved, occurred Wednesday Wed-nesday at 5:30 p.m. on U. S. Highway 40 on the other side of Heber city, when his automobile automo-bile collided head-on with a car driven by Willard V. England, 1587 South -Main St., Salt Lake City. Marsha Dawn England, 8-year old girl, was killed instantly as she was thrown through the windshield of the England car Other passengers were Mr. and Mrs. England and their son. J. Lynn, who were treated at the Heber hospital and released, Only one injured in the Snow vehicle was Marilyn, who suffered suf-fered minor head injuries. Mr. Snow, his children, and Stanley Hall left Roosevelt about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Mr. Snow driving his touring car, and Mr. Hall a truck to pick up a wrecked trucK ai neper City. The wrecked truck, owned by Mr. Snow, had turned over in an accident, Monday, just this side of Heber City. Evidently Evident-ly Mr. Snow, the driver of the truck, had dozed at the wheel, but was not injured in the accident. ac-cident. After loading the truck, Mr. Hall returned to Roosevelt and Mr. Snow and twins left to go to Salt Lake City on business, the last accident occurring shortly short-ly afterward. Mr. Show remained in Heber City Wednesday night to recover re-cover from shock and be present for any questioning. A blinding snow storm and slick roads were listed as the cause of the accidents. |
