Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Sees Brother 1st Time In 25 Years Millard Massey, of Billings, Montana, and his sons. Melvin and family of Basin, Mont, and Lloyd and wife of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Cynthia Massey of Vernal, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross on Tuesday. This was the first time Mrs. Ross had seen her brother. Millard in 25 years, and he had not been back home for 40 years. Mr. and Mrs. Loryn Ross made a trip to Salt Lake City Monday to get material for their new house they are building in Pleasant Valley. Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Lusty, Clark and - Steel Lusty, Mrs. Lois Terpening and daughter, Joyce, were dinner guests New Year's at the home of Mrs. Veri Roper in Upalco. ! Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Deon, Delaine and Mildred Bird spent New Year's at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Duncan in Neola. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ros, Mrs. Rose D. Gilbert and Mrs. Ora Holgate left Saturday fo New York, where they will meet Elder R. G. Ross, who has just completed a two-year mission. mis-sion. They expect to' visit many points of interest during the month they are gone. Mr. and Mrs. Julius Zirker, their daughters, Ardis and Car-olee, Car-olee, and Lorna Cobia left Friday Fri-day for their home in Moses Lake, Washington, after spending spend-ing the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. John Zirker and friends. John Zirker returned with therr to do some work on their place. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gilbert and family were dinner guests, Sunday, at the home of Mrs. Gilbert's parents, Mr. and Mrs Porter Merrell, in Duchesne. FIRESIDE CHAT Fireside Chat was held Sunday Sun-day evening at the home of Mr and Mrs. Charlie Bird, with Mildred Bird in charge. The guest speaker was Bishop Garn .Gilbert. Refreshments were served to thirteen guests. The following students returned return-ed to Provo to school: Gayle and Naomi Gilbert, Pauline Lar-j sen, Marilyn Zirker and Mer-lynn Mer-lynn Ross. Miss Shirley Zirker returned to Heber, where she teaches school. The Bishopric and heads of the organizations made their annual an-nual visit Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Lusty enjoyed en-joyed a visit Saturday by their relatives from Heber. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen and son, Kent, visited a few days in Salt Lake City during the week. Mrs. Bonnie De Graff, of Heber. Heb-er. spent the weekend with her parents, Mr.' and Mrs. John Zirker Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate en tertained at New Year's dinner for Henry Richens, George Bu- hanin, Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Rich-ens, Rich-ens, and Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans. ...
